1. Lawful Use
You may only use our services for lawful purposes. Any use that violates applicable federal, provincial, or international laws or regulations is strictly prohibited.
2. Prohibited Content and Activities
The following content and activities are not permitted on our shared hosting services:
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email, or mailing list abuse
- Malware, viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or malicious scripts
- Phishing, fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Copyright infringement or distribution of pirated software, media, or content
- Hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
- Child sexual abuse material or any exploitative content
- Illegal drugs, weapons, or unlawful services
- Unauthorized access attempts, hacking, or network abuse
3. Resource Usage (Shared Environment)
Shared hosting resources are shared among multiple users. You may not:
- Use excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, or bandwidth that degrades server performance
- Run background processes, daemons, or cron jobs that impact system stability
- Host file storage, backup repositories, or content distribution networks (CDNs) not intended for website operation
- Use shared hosting for high-traffic, resource-intensive, or real-time applications
If your account negatively affects server performance, we may suspend or limit resources.
4. Email Usage
Email services must comply with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and industry best practices. You must:
- Only send email to recipients who have provided consent
- Include valid sender identification and unsubscribe mechanisms
- Avoid excessive outbound email volume
Accounts sending spam may be suspended immediately.
5. Security Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including:
- Keeping scripts, CMS platforms, and plugins up to date
- Using strong passwords and protecting login credentials
- Promptly addressing compromised files or accounts
6. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of services without prior notice. Severe or repeated violations may be reported to appropriate authorities.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
