How to update the DNS Records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV) for my domain Print

To Activate the Domain Manager

NOTE: The Domain Manager cannot be activated if you already have an active hosting account for the domain in question. In such cases, use the Advanced Zone Editor available in your Hosting cPanel (exact details available in the next section).

1. Log in to your Client Area
2. Click on My Domains
3. If you have several domains, click on Details next to the domain you wish to manage
4. Click on Domain Manager
   
5. Click on Activate
6. Click on Launch Domain Manager
   

To Create or Modify an MX Entry

1. Log in to your Domain Manager (or to your cPanel if you have an active hosting account for your domain)
   
2. Click on MX Entry
3. Select the Domain to manage
4. Under Email Routing, select Automatically Detect Configuration (Recommended) and click Change to ensure your mail gets routed correctly. reate or Modify an MX Entry
5. To create a new MX Record, scoll down to Add New Record and enter a Priority (a number from 0 to 100, where the lower number = the highest priority) and a Destination (generally an external hostname) and click on Add New Record.
6. To change an existing MX, scroll down to the section called MX Records and click Edit next to the entry you want to change. Update the settings you need and click Edit.

1. Log in to your Domain Manager (or to your cPanel if you have an active hosting account for your domain)
2. Click on Advanced Zone Editor  (under the Domains section)
3. Select the domain you wish to manage from the list
4. To add a record, scroll to the Add a Record section, select a Type of record, enter its Name, TTL (Time To Live; if in doubt enter 14400), and a destination Address, the click Add Record.
   
5. To modify an existing record, scroll down to the Zone File Records section and click Edit next to the record you want to change. Adjust the values as needed, then click the Edit Recordbutton to save.
